We are a small hobby breeder of the Traditional Yorkshire Terrier and Biewer Yorkshire Terrier a la’ Pom Pon. We are located in Virginia about 60 miles from Washington, D.C., in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Locally, we serve the Washington, D.C. area including Northern Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia; but are not limited to this area.

Traditional Yorkie
If you are looking for a puppy to love, yorkies are the perfect choice! Traditional Yorkshire Terrier puppies are also known as Yorkies. They offer big personalities wrapped in a small package. Yorkies are considered a toy breed. The Yorkie Standard size is from 4 to 7 pounds. Traditional Yorkie pups are born black and tan. You will find their color changes as they mature. The black is sometimes referred to as blue. Traditional Yorkies can be any of these color combinations: blue and gold, blue and tan, black and gold, and black and tan. Yorkies are very sweet and loving dogs, who become extremely devoted to their owners.
Biewer Yorkie
The Traditional Yorkshire Terrier is widely known, however not many are acquainted with the Biewer. The Biewer Yorkshire a la’ Pom Pon, originated in Germany in 1984. Biewer is pronounced “Bee-va” like “Diva”. The Biewer’s bred “Darling of Friedheck” and “Frufru of Friedheck”, two blue and tan Yorkshire terriers. This pairing produced a piebald genetic recessive gene. This recessive gene resulted in what is known as the Biewer Yorkshire Terrier a la’ Pom Pon. The coloring consists of black, gold, and white. The Biewer’s decided the exquisite markings were a trait to be coveted and began breeding for these specific colors. Biewer Yorkshire Terriers are yorkies, just yorkies of a different color. Our dogs are part of our family, even sleeping in our bed. Our yorkie puppies are raised in our home, not in a kennel. They interact with our family and friends from birth. They are very friendly, intelligent, and loving. Puppies are puppy pad trained. We breed occasionally and from time to time we have Biewer puppies and Traditional Yorkie puppies for sale.
