As a caring and compassionate yorkie breeder who occasionally offers yorkie puppies for sale, I would like to offer advice on the use of a harness for your yorkie. It is very important that when you are walking your yorkie on a leash that you utilize a harness instead of a collar. It is well known that collar use with a leash can cause many problems to yorkies and small breed dogs. One problem in particular is tracheal collapse. Click Here To Continue Reading
Separation Anxiety in Yorkie Puppies
Separation anxiety can occur in your puppy when it leaves his mother and littermates and goes to his new home. This is completely normal. Bringing your new puppy home is an exciting time for you, but it can also be a frightening time of adjustment for your new puppy. The puppy feels lost and alone as it is leaving the security of his mother and littermates. The pup is experiencing a multitude of new sights, sounds and smells. You may find it is worse at night, with the puppy crying or howling. It misses its mother and siblings! The puppy may call, cry, howl, to the others as if to say “Come and get me.” He’s waiting for one of the pack to answer. When they don’t, he tries again. You’ll notice that the first night is the worst. During the day your puppy may either be a little nervous of you, or it may follow you right away. Click Here To Continue Reading
Toys for Your Yorkie Puppy
YORKIE TOYS
As a compassionate and caring breeder who offers yorkie puppies for sale, I would like to offer you my suggestions for toys, balls and chew toys for your new yorkie puppy. In this post you will find a list of toys that I recommend for your Yorkie or Biewer puppy. All puppies enjoy playing with toys! I have found that the small toys are very easy for a Yorkie to carry around and it is a great way to teach them to fetch. Pups enjoy soft toys, stuffed toys, fuzzy toys, squeaker toys, noisy toys – really any kind of toy! Your puppy won’t care about the color! They will be very interested in the texture and any sounds it makes. Squeakers and bells are always a big hit with yorkie puppies!Click Here To Continue Reading

Nutrical for Yorkie Puppies
As a breeder who offers yorkie puppies for sale, I would like to offer you a suggestion to keep your yorkie puppy healthy. When you bring your new Traditional Yorkie puppy or Biewer Yorkie puppy home, it is a good idea to have Nutrical available. These little puppies can become stressed with their new environment and their sugar may drop. It is a good idea to give Nutrical for the first few days of your puppy’s transition to his/her new home. If your puppy is not eating as much as you think it should, it is a good idea to give it Nutrical.
